On 31st March 2023, I officially debuted on Amazon as a self published author.

It was an imperfect launch, and honestly I’m still figuring things out. But it worked out pretty good for me. Much, much better than expected. And I’m humbled by this experience. Mostly because of everyone who read my book. Which is not a lot of people, but it still means a lot to me.

Here is a quick flash review of what I did and what worked for me.

A few books which helped me:

Six Figure Author by Chris Fox.

How I Sold 80,000 Books by Alinka Rutkovska.

Strangers to Superfans by David Gaughrin.

While each and every bit of advice wasn’t applicable to my book, it was still useful to know.

Proofreading:

For proofreading I used Grammarly Premium. It really helps. Honestly, do not go just for the free version. Total cost — 30$. But having used it, you have to watch out for each and every update since it is designed to proofread non fiction and it could potentially mess up your prose.
