The Chase
When their van breaks down at night on the road, the group finds what they’ve been seeking…
Previously: When interviewing the locals, they come to know of the strange ethereal lights…
The sun dips low in the sky as the group heads back to the van. Apart from the old lady, they haven’t had much luck with the other townsfolk. And they can’t find out anything more about the Min Min Lights either. At its mere mention, the townsfolk clam up and refuse to entertain the group. But Dan’s enthusiasm remains undimmed. The old woman’s tale has fired him up, and he’s already planning their next shoot.
“This is exactly what we need,” Dan says as he yanks open the van’s door and clambers inside. “We’ll head out tonight, find a good spot, and see if we can catch those lights on camera. This could be our breakthrough!”
Mike, right behind him, doesn’t look too convinced. “You heard what she said, Dan. Those lights aren’t something you want to mess with.”
Dan waves him off. “She was just trying to scare us. That’s how these stories always go. It’s all part of the folklore. We’ll be fine.”
