Previously: In the vast open outback a group of amateur paranormal investigators are on the hunt for some spooky stories….

The sky is a deep, starless black by the time the group sets up camp.

They had visited Dingo’s Peak earlier, which is a bit of a disappointment. It’s only a small hill with a sharp cliff to one side, and it doesn’t look too impressive on camera. Jules tries making contact with any possible spirits, but there’s no answer. Disappointed, they pack up and head back to the same town, setting up camp on its outskirts.

The van is parked near a sheltered shady spot, its headlights casting a dim glow over the sparse vegetation. A few gnarled trees dot the surrounding landscape, but otherwise, the rest of the land stretches out flat and empty in every direction.

Dan sits on a folding chair near the van, scrolling through the camera footage. He frowns at the screen, unhappy with what they’ve captured during the day. “Nothing. Not a single thing. Just a bunch of dirt and some kangaroos.”
